Our first animation was created using toys in our childhood home back garden, filmed using Joe's second-hand Super 8 camera. Continuing with our DIY + learn-as we-go approach we picked it up again as students in Brighton (Sadie studying Fashion, Joe studying Film) as a way to illustrate one of Sadie's projects.

Whilst a student, Sadie was interning for accessories designer Katie Hillier, who approached us about making some animations for her personal brand and collaborations. We loved making these! And from there went on to make several for Marc Jacobs and other fashion brands, as well as for Sadie's personal projects, including collaborations for & Other stories + Barbie.

We cooled off co-creating animations for a little while whilst we focused on individual pursuits, but since the pandemic we have circled back and begun making them again, but bigger + better!
